School uniform track suit to be handed over to the Principal for 46 needy students of above school

A program with the mission of awakening and advocating for Empowering Ethics through colleges and various civic, business and professional societies and Identifying new Champions of Ethics and Integrity. The event was highlighted with messages from Rt. Hon. President of Nepal and R. Gordon R. McInally President, Rotary International 2023-24. Host clubs were RCs Chandragiri, Himalaya Patan, Jawlakhel, Jawlakhel Manjushree, Lalitpur Midtown, Mahaboudha, Mount Everest Lalitpur, Patan West Rajdhani and Yala. 

The primary objective of the workshop is to create awareness and foster discussions on two important aspects: the role of students for inclusiveness of innovation and secondly to be aware and alert to automation. 48 Participants of which 25 students (willing students of classes 10 and 11) and 12 expert volunteers from KEC Robotic Club and 6 RCMEL organizer members and 5 school staffs including Principal.

Robotics Workshop in Rudrayanee School comprised of :

• Introducing the students to the world of Robotics
• Familiarizing the students with the concept of electronics and programming.
• Provided a Hands-on experience with building two projects:
  • Smart IOT Light Switch
  • Robot arm

Certificates were distributed to all participants and backpacks were distributed by partner Kathmandu Engineering College.

Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur, Women in IT (WIIT), and the technical expertise of BugV came together to orchestrate an extraordinary event at Shree Rudrayani Secondary School, Khokana, Lalitpur. This groundbreaking event, titled the “Cybersecurity-Related Hackathon for Girls,” illuminated the path for the next generation of female cybersecurity experts. Hackathon for girls on live hacking was started with a very encouraging welcome by Assistant Governor Rotarian Tika Nidhi Lohani.

The event witnessed an awe-inspiring turnout of 20 talented young girls who dared to dive headfirst into the world of cybersecurity. These young champions, ranging from classes 9 to 11, demonstrated their tenacity and potential throughout the event. The program unfurled in two meticulously designed phases, ensuring. A warm up, quiz contest was conducted by WIIT, where the participants were asked questions regarding awareness of cyber security. Experience sharing from the winners were requested to the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd winners. All participants received backpack bags from Kathmandu Engineering College and certificates from RCMEL to participants and supporters.

At Nepal House, Hattisar, morning program as 6 Clubs joint meeting. Talk program delivered by AIGP Mira Chaudhary, Nepal Police. There was a lot of Q&A Interaction and discussions.

Photography competition for Engineering Students regarding Nepalese Heritage. Three prizes 1st, 2nd and 3rd are to be awarded on November 25th 2023 for the winning participants.

This year’s first service project was Tree Plantation. This event was organized at Bagdole-4. Lalitpur. 108 plant saplings were collected from various sources including Forest Department Hattisar and from personal collection of Rtn. Prem, Rtn. Uttam, Rtn. Kichah and visiting Rtn. Milan. Majority of the samplings were of fruits.
